SELF-RELIANT DIVER INSTRUCTION

Although most scuba dives are made with a buddy, an experienced diver may want or need to make dives without a partner. During the Self-Reliant Diver course, you learn about potential risks and the solutions of diving without relying on someone else. For this course you must have 100 logged dives, Redundant air supply, back up bottom timer and pressure gauge or dive computer, back up mask (recommended) and cutting tool, DSMB with reel and 100 ft of line, slate and pencil, Redundant surface signaling devices (both visual and audible) and be at least 18 years old.
